STORIES (Students’ Ongoing Research in Education Studies) is an annual two-day conference for graduate students.

The 2017 STORIES conference will take place at the Department of Education, University of Oxford on the 14th and 15th March. The theme of this year’s conference is Doing Education Differently.

Graduate students across all disciplines and at all stages of research are invited to attend or present at the 2017 STORIES conference. We welcome submissions for oral presentations and posters reflecting on a wide-range of issues in education and educational research related to the conference theme and one or more of following sub-themes:

  • Doing research differently
  • Innovation in Practice
  • Diversity in education
  • Comparative perspectives

We encourage conference participants to think creatively and critically in order to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and welcome both theoretical and empirical submissions. The conference will also include two renowned keynote speakers, Sally Tomlinson and Steve Woolgar. Click here for more information on our speakers.
