Rapid technological advancements have spurred changes to daily life that require us to re-think our understanding of skills, knowledge, and what it means to learn in the 21st century. In light of these developments, the theme of this year’s conference is Technology Matters: The Use of Technology in Education and Research. We invite conference participants to engage with implications and applications of technology as manifested in areas of learning, education, and educational research.

Educational practitioners and graduate students across all disciplines and at all stages of research are invited to attend or present at the 2018 STORIES conference. We welcome submissions for oral presentations and posters reflecting on a wide-range of issues in education and educational research related to the conference theme and one or more of following sub-themes:

  • Ethics
  • Inclusion
  • Application
  • Research

We encourage conference participants to think creatively and critically in order to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and welcome both theoretical and empirical submissions. The conference will also include renowned keynote speakers, further information to follow.
