Tell us something about what you were doing before you came to Oxford

Teaching EFL in Italy and Greece.

What do you like most about studying in the Department of Education?

It’s a friendly, efficient department with good resources and interesting lectures.

What attracted you to the programme of study here?

The proximity to my home and the reputation of the University.

What qualities do you think an Education student at Oxford needs to have in order to be successful?

Dedicated, hard working, organised and determined.

If you are a PGCE student, how has your course influenced your thinking about teaching?

It has made me think about different approaches to teaching and learning.

We hope that you would recommend the Department of Education as a place to come and study. What reasons would you give for this?

It is a very supportive department where you are made to feel very much part of a community of educators.

What are your career ambitions after you complete the course?

To continue to be a teacher in a secondary school and later move into pastoral care.
