Sample timetables

You will take a range of core courses, depending on your programme and pathway. The MSc Education also offers a range of non-compulsory, option courses that students on all programmes are welcome to attend (if they do not clash with the core elements of their course!).

For all MSc students, the majority of teaching takes place over the first two terms of the year. Some pathways are more flexible than others, but all MSc Education pathways consist of six examined papers, three in the first term, three in the second. MSc ALSLA students take eight papers, four in the first term, four in the second. Nearly all of our MSc courses are assessed by a written assignment.

Please note: these timetables are here to show you what kind of courses you MIGHT be studying. All courses and timings are subject to change.

MSc Education

Non-assessed classes are not examined, but students are still expected to be full participants. Choosing to enrol on a non-assessed course is entirely voluntary. Download sample timetables here.
