Library

The Bodleian Education Library, located at the centre of the Department of Education, specialises in material on education and related fields. It is here to support all members of the University teaching, studying and researching in the field of education.

The Library’s collection is particularly strong in the areas relevant to the Department of Education’s teaching and research. As well as a print collection of books, journals and statistics, the Library provides access to a wide range of electronic resources, many of which offer you access to full text sources.

The Library also houses a collection of teaching resources, primarily in support of subjects covered by our secondary PGCE course. The Library webpage also includes links to a wide range of useful web resources for education.

The Library now also serves as a reading room for Bodleian material, which can be ordered here from the book stacks.

Library staff are available whenever the library is open, and are very happy to help you with any queries you may have. Who are we?
