Pei-tseng Jenny is a researcher in the Centre for Comparative and International Education Research.
Her research interest is in the use of educational assessments in informing education policies, evaluations and reforms, especially in development context.
She is currently working closely with Dr David Johnson on a study on teacher professional knowledge development in Nigeria and a longitudinal study of secondary student learning achievements in Sierra Leone.
Jenny has worked extensively on research projects in East Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, most involve mix-method research design and use of assessment results. Jenny also has extensive international experience as an education consultant through her work with the World Bank, UNESCO, UNICEF and other NGOs.
