The following resource, first published on 30th March 2020, has been compiled for the benefit of parents and teachers embarking on home-schooling amid the current coronavirus pandemic.
As experts in Education (ranked no. 1 in the UK by the 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings league for Education subjects), the department is well-placed to offer guidance on home schooling during this period of school closure and staying at home.
As teacher educators at Oxford we have compiled the following list of links to general advice and some other subject specific resources that we recommend, which may help parents and teachers. The general advice offers guidance across age ranges. The subject guidance here in general is aimed at secondary school learners and are the subjects offered through our PGCE.
