Writing Assessment for Deaf Children
In spite of their unimpaired ability to learn language, many deaf children do not attain the levels of writing skill expected in the National Curriculum. When this is the case, assessments especially designed for deaf children can help teachers define individualised educational plans for them and measure their progress in writing over time.- For information about the background and design of this assessment, click here.
- For a manual that will help use it, click here. You are strongly advised to read the background information before using it.
- For instructions about the use of specific scales in the assessment, click here.
