Instruments Developed by SELF

The SELF Research Centre has developed and freely distributes a range of psychological instruments to measure self-concept and related constructs. They have been favourably evaluated in critical reviews of self-concept instruments (e.g., Byrne, 1996) and are widely used. The development of these instruments was the starting point of the Centre and an important component in establishing international linkages with colleagues who subsequently used them. See below for an overview of the instruments and instructions about how they can be downloaded.
