Viva Examination in Oslo

Director Therese N. Hopfenbeck travelled to Oslo for a Viva examination, known in Norway as a Disputation, on 19th February for PhD candidate Drita Saliu-Abdulahi and her topic Teacher and Student Perceptions of Current Feedback Practices in English Writing Instruction.

Therese was first opponent while Associate Professor Günther Sigott, Department of English, Universität Klagenfurt, Austria was second opponent.

The Chair of Defence was Dean for Studies, Professor Jon Magne Vestøl, Department of Teacher Education and School Research, Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Oslo.

Drita’s Supervisors had been Professor Glenn Ole Hellekjær, and Professor emerita Frøydis Hertzberg, both from Department of Teacher Education and School Research, Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Oslo.
