Caroline is a Research Assistant at the Department of Education working with Professor Charles Hulme.
She was awarded the University Research Staff Representative Fellowship for 2020/21, for her efforts as Co-Chair of the Oxford Research Staff Society.
Her current project is a randomised control trial of the Nuffield Early Language Intervention across 70 nurseries.
Before coming to Oxford in April 2019, Caroline completed her MSc in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of York in 2018 and BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies at the University of Aberystwyth in 2013. Caroline has 10 years of extensive, hands-on experience of working with children, specializing in Early Years (0-5 years) with the majority of this work experience acting as a Room Leader across various settings.
Caroline’s research interests include language development in monolingual and bilingual children as well as socio-emotional and sleep development in early childhood.
