Oxfordshire Climate and Nature Teacher Online Meetup

An opportunity to check in with each other on how things are going at school on climate and nature—and to discuss how ideas for enthusing KS3 in natural history have been progressing.

In September 2026 we will be (or will have) kicked off a project looking at how we can enthuse KS3 about natural history, in after school clubs or other opportunities, either just because we want to and they would enjoy it, and/or to prep them for the new GCSE in Natural History, if there will be an option for them to take it. Now, in April, those of us who will have been working on this will have an opportunity to feed back to the wider group. Do come and share any ideas or experience you’ve had of taking your students outside to experience, enjoy, and learn about the natural world. This will also be a general opportunity for a catch up on all things climate and nature at school.
