Sustainability Educators Growing Together – Sharing Our Practice, Progress, and Possibilities
Export to calendarAbstract
This online event is to reconvene the participants of the teacher sustainability collaborative we ran in June 2026, to investigate the impact of their learning and thinking at that event, and to discuss options for future research. Other practitioners are welcome to join if they are interested.
One of the core aims of the Oxford Education Deanery is to foster meaningful exchange between research and practice. This session embodies that commitment by bringing participants back together to reflect on how the ideas, frameworks, and approaches explored during the collaborative have been implemented in classrooms, schools, and communities.
Together, we will celebrate successes, explore challenges, and discuss the adaptations made along the way. Your experiences will not only help refine future professional learning for educators but will also contribute to the ongoing development of the underlying research, ensuring it remains grounded in the realities of educational practice.
Participants will also have the opportunity, if they wish, to learn about and provide consent to take part in a research study exploring the implementation of this work. Participation in the study is entirely voluntary and is not required to take part in the session.
