The free event will take place from 2pm – 4pm via Microsoft Teams, offering an opportunity for participants to hear from project leads and partner organisations about the project’s new framework for ethical and effective use of children’s information.
Attendees will be able to:
-
engage with key elements of the project’s framework for ethical and effective information use, developed through collaboration between researchers and local authority partners.
-
hear insights from representatives including the Department for Education, Children’s Commissioner’s Office, local authorities and data experts.
-
share examples of good practice and join breakout discussions on why ethical information use matters in improving services for children and families.
The webinar forms part of an ongoing programme of events connected to the Children’s Information Project, a major initiative funded by the Nuffield Foundation that aims to transform how data and children’s voices are gathered, interpreted and used to inform policy and practice across England.
Those interested in attending can register their interest via the project’s website ahead of the 4 March session.
