An ‘EasyPeasy’ way to improve school readiness skills

Researchers in the department have found that a new app for parents can lead to increased parental confidence in setting boundaries with their children and to gains in their preschoolers’ cognitive self regulation.

Fiona Jelley, Kathy Sylva and Arjette Karemaker found that children gained in task concentration and persistence after 18 weeks of playing the games at home with their parents. For the full report, click here.
