Florence Brockway, recent PGCE Science graduate

Congratulations to Florence Brockway, recent PGCE Science graduate, who is the first winner of the Oxford Education Society PGCE prize.

Florence is pictured above with Professor Ernesto Macaro, Director of the Department of Education (left) and OES committee member Mike Matejtschuk who presented the award on behalf of the committee at this year’s PGCE Garden Party held at Kellogg College on 27th June.

The annual OES PGCE prize is presented to the intern who achieves the highest mark in the PDP (Professional Development Programme) assignment.

Florence’s assignment was entitled: Assessing the use of setting and mixed ability groupings in secondary schools.
