Highly accessed article on research impact and the REF

A new open-access article, co-authored by Dr Alis Oancea, on the usefulness and feasibility of some of the common indicators of research impact has acquired the “highly accessed” designation on BioMed Central, and is currently ranking second in the BMC (HSR)’s list of “most viewed” articles since December.

The article was accessed 1835 times in the first month after it was published as a provisional PDF on the journal’s website, on 23 December 2012. http://www.biomedcentral.com/bmchealthservres/mostviewed.
