Research

The scope and ambition of research activities has grown dramatically over the last few years, with major projects in the fields of early childhood provision and learning, 14-19 education, vocational education and training, and professional learning. Major research activity and developments are also underway in the fields of assessment, pedagogy and learning in secondary education, comparative and international education, higher education, eLearning, second language acquisition, cutting edge statistical analysis and sociocultural activity theory.
