Mathematics curriculum and qualifications post-16: A panel discussion

Export to calendar

Abstract

Mathematics education is crucial for people’s everyday lives, as well as for successful careers and a thriving economy. The Government has indicated that the Curriculum and Qualifications Review in England is seeking to deliver an excellent foundation in maths education, but there are key issues for the system, particularly at the post-16 level which need better solutions. A particular focus of the Review is post-16 and vocational education. In this panel discussion, we will hear from a range of experts on their views of what is needed and proposals for addressing these needs. We invite interested parties to join the discussion, in person at the Department.
