The researcher often occupies a complicated role within a school setting. From building relationships with teachers, to ethical considerations while working with students, there is much to navigate throughout the data collection process.

I will share fieldwork and professional experience as both a researcher and school counselor in New York City. We’ll touch on the CUREC and CUREC 2 process, how ethics play into thesis writing, and potential research audits following data collection. Our discussions will include the nuances of collaborating with school faculty, and ethical guidelines while working with youth.
