John Furlong, Anna Pendry and Patrice Mertova have been awarded a research grant to evaluate SCoTENS (the Standing Conference on Teacher Education North and South).
SCoTENS (http://scotens.org/) was established in 2003 as part of the Good Friday Agreement to promote greater dialogue and understanding amongst educationalists across the island of Ireland. The evaluation will consider SCoTENS’ contribution to the professional development of academic staff and students in Ireland, and its contribution to the peace process.
