After completing a BA(Hons) in East Asian Religions and Cultures at the University of Leeds and then an MPhil in Buddhist Studies at St Catherine’s College, Oxford Romana decided to begin a DPhil focusing on Buddhism within religious education in England. Her research interests include; religious education, contemporary Buddhism, western Buddhism, outreach between the academy and schools, and curricula.
