Nadine is a Researcher and Project Manager for the NIHR-funded project: Evaluating speech, communication, and language support at the 2- 2½ year Healthy Child review (ESCALATER).
Alongside this role, Nadine is also a Postdoctoral Researcher for a charity- Childhood Matters- running a national mixed methods study on retention and attrition in foster carers in Ireland.
Before joining the Department of Education, Nadine worked as a Research Associate at Durham University to evaluate a literacy intervention in deprived nurseries, and as Research Manager at the National Deaf Children’s Society. Nadine gained a PhD in Developmental Psychology which focused on language development.
