About me

Abigail is an Oxford Academic Futures Scholar and DPhil student researching the impact of widening participation initiatives on student progression and trajectories. Her main interests are in social mobility and Higher Education policy.

Abigail holds a BSc in Politics and History from the London School of Economics and an MPhil in Education (Globalisation and International Development) from the University of Cambridge.

Following her MPhil, she worked as a Leadership Development Officer at England’s Higher Education regulator, the Office for Students. In this capacity, she worked in various areas including: access and participation, strategy, regulation and risk management, and research.

Abigail is passionate about access and equality of opportunity. She is a member of the Social Mobility Foundation’s Youth Advisory Panel and volunteers as a strategist for a grassroots charity working with schools in North London to share knowledge and advice on higher education and careers.
