Prior to joining the Department of Education, Caitlin completed her PhD in Psychology and Education at the University of Warwick, exploring the mental health and wellbeing of children and adults with learning disabilities and their families.
In her previous roles, she has worked on projects including a mindfulness intervention for parent and sibling carers of people with learning disability, longitudinal research with families of children with learning disability, genetic syndromes, and/or neurodevelopmental conditions, and the Stand Together trial, a multicentre cluster randomised controlled trial of KiVa in mainstream primary schools.
