Jonny is a DPhil student in the Oxford University Centre for Educational Assessment, supervised by Michelle Meadows, Jo-Anne Baird and Velda Elliott. He is interested in developing a queer approach to assessment equity, especially how this relates to England’s exam system and the subject of religious education. He is also a General Tutor on the PGCE and has previously worked as a Curriculum Tutor in Religious Education, as well as completing research projects with OUCEA and the Oxford Education Deanery.
In addition to his work on RE, assessment and LGBTQ+ education, Jonny has worked on digital ethics and works with the Bodleian’s Centre for Digital Scholarship. He is also worked on the ESRC-funded Digital Citizenship project with Glasgow University.
Jonny is also the Chair of the LGBT+ Staff Network for the University of Oxford.
