Keeley has a background in primary school teaching and is currently in the final stages of her DPhil at UCL Institute of Education. Her work focuses on the ways in which early years educators talk with children to support their oral language skills, specifically how they adapt the support they provide according to children’s language needs and responses. She is currently working on the evaluation of the Talking Time early language intervention programme, funded by the EEF and the Nuffield Foundation.
