Minrui has a Master’s degree from Beijing Normal University and worked as a research assistant at a number of Chinese think tanks before coming to Oxford.
Minrui’s research interests now focus on equity issues in k-12 education, with the ultimate goal to influence policy decisions, which is aligned with the research direction in education policy and administration. Currently Minrui is concerned about school effectiveness across different school types and concerned about educational quality assessment.
Minrui participated in two national-level projects, three provincial and ministerial level projects and three departmental level projects, hosted two departmental level projects as the facilitator and presenter at an international conference sub-forum.
