About me

Nosheen completed her undergraduate degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies at SOAS University of London and holds a CELTA qualification from Cambridge University. She began her career in Saudi Arabia, where she designed and led educational courses specializing in English language and vocational training, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Her work focused on empowering young Muslim women to use education as a pathway into corporate, educational, and professional sectors. During this time, Nosheen also qualified as an IELTS examiner for the British Council, traveling extensively across Saudi Arabia to assess students from IGCSE to master’s level. She contributed to educational policy initiatives, including advocating for women’s rights, such as the landmark policy allowing women to drive.

In 2018, Nosheen completed a Master’s degree in International Human Resource Management, alongside CIPD Level 7 and CMI Level 7 qualifications in strategic management and leadership. She worked as an HR manager in Dubai, transforming a struggling business into a thriving international franchise. Upon returning to the UK in 2020, she held roles in HR for an international bank and the NHS, excelling in strategic advisory capacities.

Despite her success in the corporate world, Nosheen pursued her passion for education. She transitioned to teaching in Berkshire secondary schools and completed a PGCE at the University of Oxford, specializing in Religious Education. She continues to teach part-time, drawing on her extensive experience in education and curriculum development.

In September 2024, Nosheen began her DPhil in Education at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on Religion and Education in the Middle East, offering a comparative and international perspective to advance educational practices and policies.

Beyond her academic and professional commitments, Nosheen enjoys spending time with her daughter and family. She is passionate about traveling, learning new languages, and reading widely, fostering a lifelong commitment to personal and intellectual growth.
