About the Role
The Department of Education is seeking a Research Assistant to support a large research project within the Social Sciences Division at the University of Oxford. The postholder will work under the supervision of Dr Aliya Khalid, Senior Departmental Lecturer in Comparative and International Education.
The successful candidate will contribute to data collection, literature reviews, and analysis, as well as assist in developing research materials and managing day-to-day project activities. They will also have the opportunity to contribute to publications and present findings at internal or external meetings.
Applicants should hold a first degree in a relevant discipline and have experience in conducting research, analysing data, and managing their own work effectively. Being enrolled in a PhD programme is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.
This post is offered on variable hours for a six month fixed term basis.
