ESRC featured research: mobile technology

The ESRC have featured the Department’s work on mobile health training in Kenya as one of their on-going series of impact case studies.

Project director Dr Niall Winters said “The support of ESRC-DFID was critical for developing state-of-the-art mobile applications to help train health workers in Kenya”. Research Fellow, Dr. Anne Geniets added “ESRC-DFID’s promotion of capacity development allowed us to build a strong and sustainable partnership with AMREF Health Africa, providing the local access needed for project success”.
