Public Seminar: The land of milk and honey? Reflections on fair access to higher education in Scotland, and considerations for the rest of the UK
Export to calendarAbstract
In this presentation, Scotland’s Commissioner for Fair Access will share his thoughts on work to achieve fair access to higher education in Scotland, an agenda pursued formally since 2017 with the objective of attaining proportionate access by 2030 for entrants from Scotland’s most disadvantaged communities for first-degree, full-time, Scottish domiciled students. The first interim target was met; the second is pending. But beyond numbers, there is a wide range of actions that have been implemented in pursuit of greater equity.
