New project funded to enhance the Assessment of Practical Science Skills in Schools and Colleges

A new project funded by Wellcome Trust in association with Gatsby Foundation will be led by Professor Sibel Erduran on “Enhancing Summative Assessment of Practical Science: A Systemic Approach”.

The project, running for 3 years, will be used to inform recommendations for future GCSE and A-level reform and will involve a partnership with AQA.  The project team includes Professor Jo-Anne Baird, Alison Cullinane, Dr Yasmine El Masri, Diana Ng, Dr Lena Gray, Dr Judith Hillier and Dr Ann Childs.
