More than 150 staff and students gathered on 21 October to enjoy the Department’s annual poster conference. Over 80 posters generated lively conversations on topics ranging from student experience, digital assessment, to special needs, the interaction between music and language learning, and co-research with children.

Director of Research, Professor Gabriel Stylianidis, noted the special place this event has in the Department’s calendar, as an opportunity for networking, collaboration and to celebrate and share our current work and recent achievements.

Three DPhil students – Motema Lelatsa (OUTER), Lin Li (OUCEA) and Thomas Procter-Legg (Sociocultural and Activity Theory) presented the posters which were judged to be the best for the clarity of message, summary of findings and attractive presentation. Further commendations were awarded to Spesio Mwamelo, Jonny Tridgell, and Zilu Lucia Wang.
