The University of Oxford’s Department of Education has launched two new part-time courses for professionals working in English as an Additional Language and Early Years to become research-informed practitioners.

The Postgraduate Diploma in English as an Additional Language (EAL) will benefit professionals working with multilingual learners in the national and international sectors, while the Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education is for professionals working with young children in national and international settings.

Taught by University of Oxford experts, students will develop their knowledge of research in EAL or Early Childhood Education and apply this directly to their practice.

The part-time, one-year courses are designed to fit in with current work commitments and primarily take place online, apart from a residential week in Oxford at the beginning of the year.

These pioneering courses enable education professionals to study at Oxford from anywhere around the world. We look forward to welcoming your application.
