Sara said: “I am really grateful to be awarded this OPEN Fellowship. It provides a wonderful opportunity to engage with the OECD and learn first-hand how educators and researchers can contribute meaningfully to global policies that support our education systems.”
Given Sara’s depth and breadth of experience as an educator and academic, the OECD will benefit from her specialist knowledge as to how policy makers can best support quality teaching and learning globally. In return, Sara’s research interests in evidence-based policy making will be supported through a broadening of her experience and an opportunity to engage with the multi-dimensional nature of policy co-creation.
The aim of the partnership is to help further develop the bridges between the OECD and the University of Oxford. The outcomes from this OPEN fellowship will support deeper and more effective engagement between policy makers and researchers in the future to help foster more collaboration on an ongoing basis.
