A letter headed up Jason Todd (Departmental Lecturer) and signed by over 50 signatories including the Booker prize winner and David Olosoga alongside support from key institutions like the Royal Historical society and Royal society of literature has been published in The Times. The letter calls for funding to support the setting up of a research centre to enable an evidence-informed approach to professional development in relation to developing effective teaching of British histories of migration and empire.
