About me

Dr Jess Pilgrim-Brown is a Sociologist and Researcher in the field of Higher Education. She is particularly interested in cycles of inequality, inequity and issues to relating to social justice in the academy.

She currently works as a Senior Research Associate and Lecturer at the University of Bristol and a Postdoctoral Research in the Department of Education, University of Oxford. Her research publications to date focus on the experiences of working-class professional services staff, inequalities within education research in the UK and the ethics of care for researchers in higher education research.
