About me

Kyle Davison is a Doctoral candidate and a quantitative methods instructor at the Department of Education, University of Oxford.

His thesis investigates academic peer help-seeking and help-giving among primary school pupils at Key Stage 2. Kyle Davison’s research interests include self-regulation of learning and performance, intraindividual (situation-specific) learning experiences, and quantitative methods in education research.

He is a member of the Child Development and Learning research group, and Quantitative Methods Hub. Alongside his research, Kyle Davison sits on the department’s Academic Committee, and is Junior Dean of St John’s College, Oxford. He holds an MSc in Child Development and Education from the Department of Education, University of Oxford.

Professional membership: European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI), British Educational Research Association (BERA), Society for Educational Studies (SES), and Chartered College of Teaching.
