Thomas Noall-Churchill

About me

Tom is a part-time DPhil student investigating the use of Artificial Intelligence in Education, with a particular focus on the ethical implications of using generative AI.

Tom has degrees from Liverpool, Birmingham and most recently an MSc in Learning and Teaching from the University of Oxford. His MSc dissertation looked at student and staff perceptions of decolonisation and how a decolonised curriculum in religious studies could be created.

Outside of his academic research Tom is an experienced Head of Department and teacher of Philosophy, Religious Studies and Economics and has taught at several different schools in the south-west. Most recently he oversaw professional development, stepping down to pursue academic research.

Tom’s educational research interests are wide and include educational policy analysis, philosophy of education, educational technology and religious education.
