Yuvraj Singh is a sociologist of education. His doctoral research attends to the role of education in shaping caste subjectivities among young people in urban India. More broadly, his work engages with questions surrounding education, social inequalities, and social identities. Prior to joining Oxford, Yuvraj completed a Master’s in Education at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi and worked for several years in the education sector. His doctoral research is supported by the Clarendon Fund Scholarship and the Brasenose College Clarendon Award.
