TeacherCoach: AI solutions
The Project
How can we harness AI chatbot capabilities to offer meaningful ‘just in time support’?
TeachCoach allows trainees and early career teachers to practice their situation-based responses, consider how best to deal with challenging students, and even gain help in differentiating work for students with particular needs. Trained on a wealth of data from University spin-out Teacher Success Platform, TeachCoach provides a custom experience unlike generic chat engines with a clear persona, defined boundaries and even English language conventions.
Research Questions
- How can we support trainees and ECTs in busy environments?
- How can we ensure that the support that is being accessed is reflective of the context of the user?
