The Department of Education is looking to recruit a Senior Research Fellow in the field of AI and Education. The post holder will be responsible for leading a programme of research to support improvements to the use of AI in education; raising funds and managing their own specialist grant funded projects, developing and leading a hub and/or other entities in the department. They will provide academic supervision for research students, contribute to lectures and class teaching.
The successful candidate will:

hold a PhD/DPhil with significant post-qualification experience or have proven industry experience within the field of AI,

possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop research projects and methodologies

An established reputation and publication record in the field of AI
-
Have experience of both building and maintaining networks with industry leaders
