A report in Schools Week looks at what actions the government has taken over the last four years to support the academic attainment of looked after children and what can be expected in the coming years.
The article quotes Professor Judy Sebba of the Rees Centre for Fostering and Education who says that a focus on getting the right data is crucial. In addition Rees Centre doctoral student Aine Kelly comments on how children in foster care may best be supported in school based on her own personal experience.
