Professor John Furlong OBE

Congratulations to Professor John Furlong, Emeritus Professor of Education and Emeritus Fellow of Green Templeton College, who has been recognised in the New Year’s honours list and made an officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to research in education and advice to government.

A former Director of the Department of Education and a former President of the British Educational Research Association, John is a member of research groups encompassing learning and new technologies, teacher education, and professional learning.
