About me

Alice is a teacher and former elementary school Principal.  She has taught preschool through higher education in elementary and postsecondary schools in Canada and Switzerland.  She is currently engaged in collaborative research with her child research partner, WWFBI (World-Wide Fantastic Bird Investigator), studying children’s sense of kinship with birds and local spaces.  The study examines the relational and participatory potential of education research to foster inter and intra species understanding and reconciliatory practices.
