Szilvi’s research interests lie at the intersection of religion and higher education. She completed her DPhil at the Department, exploring the experiences of Christian postgraduate students at universities in England. She has research experience in the areas of religion and education and science and religion, and extensive teaching experience. She holds a BA in Theology and completed her PGCE in Religious Education and her MSc in Research Design and Methodology at the Department. She is a member of the Centre for Global Higher Education and the Philosophy, Religion and Education Research Groups.
Szilvi is working on the Talking Time Project as a postdoctoral research assistant under Dr Sandra Mathers and Keeley Dobinson. She is Co-PI at Wycliffe Hall on the Theomousikos Programme, and works as a postdoctoral research assistant on the New Christian Masculinities project at Regent’s Park College.
