Yuchen Wang recently joined the Department of Education to support research development on AI and the reconfiguration of teachers’ work. Her research interests are inclusive education, children’s voice, disability rights, and the intersections between digital technologies and inclusion. She contributed to Scotland’s ‘National Framework for Inclusion’ and UNESCO ‘AI and the Future of Education’ collection. Her co-edited book ‘Artificial Intelligence and Inclusive Education: Speculative Futures and Emerging Practices’ won Springer Nature China New Developments Award in 2022.
