Prestigious Fellowship for Professor Siraj

Congratulations to Professor Iram Siraj (Chair in Child Development and Education) who has been appointed as Senior Research Fellow at Jesus College, University of Oxford with effect of 1^st October 2018.

Professor Siraj joined the department in June 2018 from University College London where she was Professor of Early Childhood Education. Her research is largely focussed on pre-school and primary education, in particular the impact of quality, adult-child interactions, pedagogy and the impact of parents.

Professor Siraj will join Professors Kathy Sylva (Honorary Research Fellow and Professor of Educational Psychology) and Pam Sammons (Professorial Senior Research Fellow) from the department, who also hold Fellowships at the College.
